Default Modded ITR vs S2000?

I have this guy at my work who is wanting to run my new 05' S2000 (1100 miles) with his Integra Type R. I am completely stock, he has Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Test Pipe and some kind of Piggyback ECU. He told me he took a S2000 with an exhaust from a 45 mph roll. I guess that seems possible.. (eventhough that is right in VTEC in 2nd) What kind of 1/4 mile time do ITR put down with those kind of mods? I'll probably run him anyway.

Thanks!

I raced an ITR with spoon header, spoon exhaust, test pipe, vafc, ATS 4.9 Final Drive, Comptech Ice box etc. It was when i first got my car and i only launched at 4k and he took me off the line but i passed him at about 75. You should get him. I had I/E at the time.

YOu will jump a good 2 cars on him from the dig, and you should be able to keep that lead, if not make it grow. I have raced and ITR with the same set up and beat him by 4 lengths from a dig

I imagine all the races from a dig are with about a 6k clutch drop? I guess if I need to, I'll do it. I'll just have to get off that clutch FAST!

If you've only had the car for 1100 miles, I doubt it will benefit you to race from a complete stop, unless you've been practicing your clutch dumps in the last 500 miles.

Post the results, I'm interested. Well tuned ITR's can be pretty quick.

A DC2 setup with I/H/E, was clocking near 14 seconds flat for the quartermile. But add a well tuned piggy back ECU and it would shave off quite a few tenths of seconds believe me.

I ran a EG Type R hatch Fully gutted with just the exception of the passenger seat with mugen header, straight pipe, and some type of ecu from a 20mph and 45mph. He had me in the 20mph by a car but from the 45mph we were dead even till 5th then i started to pull slowly. At the time I had just a comptech intake, and spoon exhaust with the cat on. It should be close.

Wow! By DC2 you refer to the GSR? If I recall correctly, they run a 15.5 stock so, it sounds a little wild for I/H/E to drop that by 1.5 secs....

No no, he said ITR. I think they run in the mid 14 sec range stock.
