i was at lunch today just driving the s2k enjoying the day. i pull out onto south tacoma way headed back to the dealership. i pull out of a side street rather um, "spirited" and catch the attention of a electron blue EK hatch on s2k(ap1) wheels. he rolls down his window and asked if i will run him, cause hes never run an s2k with his new setup. at this point i am figuring hes maybe pushing a ITR swap, turbo single cam, LS-VTEC, but i negleted to ask. so we turn the corner and line up at about 15 mph, hes gets into 1st and tells me to hit it. no honks, he just wants me to go first. at this point, i am scared. me, go first, uh ok.

so i hit it in first and, you'll have to forgive me cause it gets confusing from here. all i heard is tires squeling, a bov going crazy, psh,psh,psh,psh!! through 1,2 and the very first part of 3 i am head, i had the top up so there is a big blind spot. then i here WHAAAAAAAAAA, PSH, WHAAAAAAAAAA as he pulls past me in third and pulls a car and half and i lift at the top of third........................wow.................

i caught up and he gave thumbs up and said i put up a helluva fight! turns out hes running b18c with a custom turbo kit, on 10lbs, about 295whp.

oh, well, cant win em all..

hell of a fight my friend. Turbo+FWD= no traction. from a stop you would have murdered him. Defenitley a nice car to run against. it'll be the same for me once my buddy tunes his gs-r turbo. expecting 350whp!!!!!
