Default My First Vid

Well, I figure maybe someday I'll be as good as Wes at telling stories or getting videos, but I have to start somewhere:

For those of you who doubt ITR's, the video doesn't really do justice for either of us. All he had was a CAI and he kept up with a stock S2K to like 110 from a roll. Then we conveniently pulled up at this stoplight next to each other. He was fast, but I think he was at my back bumper or a little further back at 90 when I shut down. I was very impressed, and Insomniak will back me up on this, it was a fast Type R. Of course, we didn't get the roll on film, but at 110 I had him by a car and a half, but still, very impressive.

Oh yeah, Mingster, that exhaust sound familiar?

Yeah, exactly what happened with me. That's the range of their 4th, and he was saying once he gets into 5th, there's no way he can do anything. Overdrive type of gear.

yeah.. that ITR was faster then the other ones i've encountered. he said he ran a 14.6.. i'm sure w/ a good launch you could of had at least 2-3 cars on him by the 1/4.

too bad they didn't get the highway runs on tape.. i heard that stock s2000 didn't start to pull till 4th gear on the ITR. it was an awesome run.

and that s2k w/ intake and exhuast got about 1 1/2 cars on the ITR on the highway run.

This was filmed on the access road next to Mopac, right around Anderson Lane (or is it Far West Blvd?), right? I can tell by the Luby's sign.

Nice vid.

ROTFLOL....possibly...a cop had just turned onto the highway when we pulled up, which had just turn red. It's actually the Steck (I think thats the name) intersection before Anderson, going South. Not straight, but straight enough for a ITR and S2K.

Nah, he just got a better launch. He didn't look up to see yellow then have to rev to 7k.
