given equal drivers, the S will lose. S's can run anywhere from a high 13 to a mid 15 as well...seen it myself...on the street, anything can happen...good race.

Well just my .02 cents...but I dont see why comparing 1/4 mile times is rellevant, when they didnt race from a dead stop. I have driven the Lightning and was very impressed, almost bought it instead of the S but IMO the S feels faster, dunno maybe it's just because of the V-Tec

Oh BTW I think the Lightning weighs 42-4400 lbs

good run man...yes anything can happen on the street. as for running 14.0 or 13.5 it is conditions. in the heat and humidity i run .3 to .5 slower than the cool or cold weather. the superchargers feast on cold air.

my worst stock time was a 13.7, best being 13.4. elevation factors in too.

and for the weight of the truck....4,670lbs. stock with NO driver. with me in it i'm at 4900lbs.

i lost to a lightning pretty bad but i believe the owner said it was modded , either way it was one of my favorite races since that truck gets so loud i couldnt even hear my s when he passed me up
