i got the head work because i cracked a retainer and valve. so when i took the head off i upgraded the valvetrain and had portand flow port and polish the head. i also dont plan on be na for much longer...

I wouldn't think your head work would add any appreciable performance value with the mods you have. At those speeds the M3 should have pulled away from you with little or no trouble. Anything can happen on the streets but he could have had some driver error and should have still won.

^ i know this, i also know that i should have lost. thats why im sure of it being driver error. i did the pnp for mods that are coming and figured why not since i had the head off.

the good M3's are 95 (ODB1 3.0) (99 ODB2 3.2) and the E46 all the same. The E46 smashes on the older ones my buddy had a IDB1 E36, my S even without turbo would eat it.

You are spoiled with slow BMWs. =)

In europe, the E36 has 286bhp 93-95 and 321bhp 96->

Both the 321bhp E36 and the E46 should be much faster than a s2000 that has no turbo/supercharger.
