anyone race one yet?

 

i was at the track tonight and they were tearing it up. there was about 5 of them and the slowest one ran 14.5 and the rest ran around 14.0! two comptech blown s2's were running 14.1-14.4...so go figure.

 

I had one rev at me, but I really didn't want to tear up my car TRYING to beat a Neon. I know a lot of the board members will say it's just another Neon, and the same of the Evo, but I am sure they all feel the same way about our Honda, "the S2K is just another Honda...". I personally love the Evo, but don't care for the Neon. I know both will walk the S2K, but they are all different kinds of cars, for different kinds of people. I know all three forums talk a lot of crap on each others cars, but at times I think some of the S2K members just can't accept the fact that a little 4dr turboed sedan will kill our na Honda. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I don't think it's "all that and a bag of chips", well, maybe I do sometimes , but I also like other cars. I think on "fun to drive" scale, the S will be at the top my list. It handles well, looks beautiful, and gets a lot of looks when the top is down. Just my .02. I know no one asked for it, just wanted to voice my opinion.

 

i dont care if the neon was 50 times faster, i would never put it over the S, but my friend is gettin one and he said he wants to run, just wanted to see what i should expect, oh well i guess i just have to wait

 

Well, if you are stock, I would expect to lose in a pissig contest that started from a roll... Might want to try one from a stop... That should keep you out in front for a while
