Default about s2k

i posted here so i would get more reveiws.

what is this all about. i think this is too biased. i love s2k and evo but how could they compare a street/ track monger car to a mountain monster goofy looking lil bastard rally car. it makes no sense. they based the evo on the track where the s2k was built for. why don't they take the s2k in a rally course and see what happens. see what i mean? it doesn't make sense at all. they are 2 different class cars, for different purposes. and also i seen some of the s2k owners saying that the evo understeers. i'm an evo owner and i know my car. the trick is that the the more you let go off the gas, the more you understeer, that's how you drive an all wheel drive car. the car is heavy so it would understeer, so you need more gas so the front wheels will force the car to turn more. if you let go, the front wheels will be in neutral and it can't force to turn. i like s2ks, a couple of my friends own one. but it's just you cant compare both cars. and what is this poser-tuner Corolla, all about. as i can see, he is one sided contradicting his statement on the 4th paragraph. also it might be true that he can compare s2k with exotic cars, but these exotic cars cant keep up on the mountain pass where mud, slow/ice severe weather conditions are present and be able to race against time. well i'm not here to bash whoever, but it just hurt my eyes where evo owners can respect s2k owners and s2k owners don't respect us. and how they compare our cars where it was not built for, to make their cars look better. and one more thing, the chassis of a lancer and LanEvo is very different and it doesn't cost $60k to buy handling parts. that's all i have a say....and i'm starting to loose respect to s2k owners

well....for a start i had to delete 90% of your post due to copyright infringement

if you are referencing the lengthy article on the home page about evo vs s2k, then it doesnt need rehashing here.

there is already another thread started on the same topic

I'm biased here but Drew's write up is very good although I don't now much about the so called "limitations" of the EVO, an EVO can be very fast on an AutoX or track. According to many of the magazines the EVO turns very fast lap times in the hands of a professional driver.

hehe, I got to read it before you deleted it...lol

That person is a pretty hardcore s2k fan. I'd agree he was a little harsh, but I don't personally ever plan on owning an evo, if I want a 4 door, it'll be a beater car, not a sports car. I like my cars to be at least semi-specific in their purpose.

I do like the WRX and the EVO, they are fun cars, but I honestly think that they both have identity crises. :shrugs: No offense or disrespect meant...
