dazulu-

Believe it or not, pimply-faced jerks are not restricted to just SRT-4's. I've met them in Mustangs, F-bodies, RX-7's, and even the S2000. Be careful to not bash the car because you ran into a bad apple...

The Neon is a joke and the SRT is a bigger one... All Dodge did is add a turbo to a POS rental car and market it to 16 year old punk ass wannabe street racers.

I agree, neons are still poorly built american cars and its basically just a hyped up neon...adding a turbo is pretty much all dodge did

If you walk up to someone who knows little about cars, they look at an SRT 4 as nothing but what it is: A NEON. People are shocked when they find out hte S2000 is a Honda (I personally think they should have called it an Acura :-D) J/K!

But anyways, all it is is a POS Neon. People are going to start having severe problems with them in the near future...almost a guarantee.

And calling them auto-x cars and better than S2K's at that is a JOKE....a J-O-K-E!

I don't think the SRT-4 is a joke. I saw one at the autox last month and this guy kept spinning his tires at every turn. Couldn't put the power down, and lost a lot of time during the corners. I'm sure he's thinking R compound. In it's class, I think it will be killer.

You don't know for a fact how he was driving do ya? I could lay tons of rubber in my NSX just by double clutchin, revving too high during shifts...its not hard, but the key is this: if I drive it properly, it does not happen in my car. Why do you ask? Because it was DESIGNED to be auto-x'd (as was the S2K).

The reason the SRT-4s spin like that is there is too much power on a FWD car with absolutely NO suspension. That car was intended to get the owner to Publix a little bit faster...thats all.

"Double clutchin'"?
Ok Vin Diesel.
Uh- how do you spin the tires by "double clutchin"?
