Nice runs, my only doubt is the Mustang with nitrous and the TA that runs 12's. We all know that most S2K's can beat or stay even with Mustangs, but a Mustang on the bottle is hard to believe. Also a TA that runs 12's at the track is most likely gonna be a monster on the freeway as well. If its a newer TA it would easily smoke an S on the freeway stock.

Oh well, not trying to start a war just my .02 cents.
a Mustang on the bottle on the freeway is a hard one to beat. when i had my stang i've beaten a few S2K's on the freeway and mine was n/a.

as far as the TA, i believe it because most cars that run 12's and 11's changes out their gears to very aggresive ones. like a 4.4 or something close to that.
doing something like that will kill your top end performance so it is possible to kill one on the freeway at high speeds.

just my $0.02

I kinda agree with you, I was thinking about gears in the TA. However if it was a newer TA I dont think you even need to change the gears to get it into the 12's.

i would love to see the timeslip from that TA. that way we can probably determine what he had done to it.
i know what you're saying. i think a bone stock TA WS-6 runs a high 13 and it wouldn't be that hard to drop that down to a low 13 considering how well domestic V8's respond to a simple i/h/e upgrade.
i know from my days moding my stang that a i/h/e, chip, 4.10 gears, and some slicks could land you in the high 12's. but this is considering that the car has a capable driver.

I was wondering on your runs what were your 1/8th mile times/et and also what were your 60ft times?

I ran the other night (crappy of me) not shifting to 4th and hitting redline in 3rd at the timer (raised to 7050rpm redline) in my Porsche 944s2

I ran 15.008@92.6mph

60ft___2.186
330ft___6.340
1/8et___9.719
1/8mph___72.81
I will post my 60ft, and 1/8 times as soon as i can. The time slips are in the car and I don't wanna go get em now, kinda late..lol. But if I remember correctly my 60ft were 2.1-2.2 something. Will post soon.

As for the TA. I agree with that car it can probably get into the 12's without gears, but if it did have them then the top end would be worsened. Either way from a dead stop it would have murdered me big time. Anyone ever seen a twin turbo one, a buddy of mine wants to turbo his.

i believe Lingenfelter can probably do that for him.
they are the most reputable company when it comes to turbo charging your street GM vehicle.

ok this is off my best run that day.
60ft=2.226
330ft=6.242
1/8et=9.559
1/8mph=74.482

that was off my fastest run of 1.880 at 92.692mph
that was my best 60ft of the day but mhy other runs showed better 330ft and 1/8et.
If I only had a couple more tries at it so I could try and eliminate some tire spin, I think I would have been able to cut it to 14.6. I always just droped the clutch, I wanted to try and feather it but never got the oppertunity.

And as for the turbo TA, seems that is plans as of now, will definetly post info and what not when he begins, and ends. Can't wait to see his gains and times when it's com[plete.
