I was at old chicago and all of a sudden my friend came running in saying that a 3000gt want to race me. i was like.......WHat?! where the hell did he come from? and he said i duno he just saw your car and wanted to race. SO i went outside just incase any1 try to fuk wit my car ima beat some ass but yae. I came out and sure enough he was right there and i was like sup. he said you wanan race? i was like....wat are you doijn just going around lookin for races? and he started laughin and i had a phone call so i stepped back. THen my friends jsut atlked to him and he ebnd up leaving. But yea i was wondeirng what would the outcome be? im a fast shifter and my car is all stock. he had some 19s on his car and he didnt seem to pe sc or turbo but i was thinking he is squeezing cuz who the hell would come outa no where and want to race. AOh yea did i mention he wanted to put down 200 for the race? hahaha wat ya guys think?

i would think you might be able to pull one from a roll. i dunno. they are fast, but so rare that i have never encounter a VR4 that wanted to go. 99% in my area are the SL models, and they are so slow that a mini van might beat one!

If it's a regular 3000GT with 222hp, you'll murder him, but I suspect he's got something more if he was willing to stop on the side of the road to pick a race with a random S2000. Could be a VR-4 and it's not hard to get 400+ hp out of them. As said before, they are rare these days. Most of them are in the junk yard. They weren't the most reliable cars out there with loads of tranny and electrical problems and lots of people blow them up trying to mod them.

Yes it was probably a VR-4. I used to have a Stealth TT (basically the same car) and from a roll you should have no problem pulling on it. From a stop depends on how good you can launch but I wouldn't recommend running him from a stop for money.
