...scs2000 lives really close to me and I've seen him race my buddy's KO4 S4 and that was a really good/close race...and if he launched anywhere from 4-6 then I'll believe it cuz he seemed to get a good launch.
All I'm saying is that I've driven a Comptech SC'ed S2 and I've seen all of the dynos. I just don't see it braking the tires loose at 4K RPM's without some help. My car would just start braking tires loose around 4K and I think most of us saw when Wes posted his dyno and mine together. The mid-range area was where the biggest difference was. I had around 50 more hp in that range and I would have to try and brake the tires loose at 4K.

As for breaking the tires loose at 4K, you can do it, even with slipping out - but the conditions have to be right (colder weather / tires makes it easy). But it's a rare occurence.
My friend has a stock 2000 and I let him test drive my supercharged S2000. He told me that he noticed power response in around the 4K range as he pressed on the throttle. I tried to lunch at around 5-6K, I got too much spin. For me, I got no bogged and less wheel spin when I launched around 4K. Also I noticed if I pop the clutch instead of feathering during the launch, I got lots of wheel spin.
