Very rare car... ARe these still in production?? I heard they don't make these anymore..
Anyway I was curising on 175 westbound top down going about 65mph and I ssee a RED prowler in the rear view mirror.

I slowed down to match speed and he slows down and gives me a friendly 'nod'
(Not the kind "you wanna race?'" nod. MOre like "Hi, Howdy??" type of nod)

Anyway I give a nod too and I point the nice open road infront of us.

He then flicks the cigar he was smoking out the window and drops gear and punches it first. (Baster!!)
aRrrrrggg.. He's about 2-3 car lengths infront of me. I immediately drop to 3rd
and by the end of 3rd gear I'm slowly gaining on him!

And the worst thing that could happen happened to me(when you are racing)

I missed shifted going into 4th!!! *sigh*
I think I hit the rev limiter like 2 -3 times
and for sure I thought I f**ked my "S"

Anyway the guy in the prowler exited his way and I gave him a good bye wave
(trying to look kewl)

I'll get him next time though Hope I didn't make our "S" look bad *sigh*

I could see missing a 3rd or 5th gear shift, but a 4th?!?!?!?! I mean you're just slapping it straight down. Next time you'll have to REALLY show him what your S can do.

I read in a Motor Trend Magazine that the space for the driver's space is very limited.

The front of the Prowler shows the axles and that stuff. What if some kids looking around decided to damage the axles and stuff?

well, if they wanted to, they could, but I'm willing to bet it would take a 20-pound sledgehammer to do it.

I believe the Prowler only comes with an automatic tranny... it's the same motor and tranny from the 300 M.
