Damn... We'll see what kind of lil project car I pick up this coming year... I hang around this place alot, if I didn't crash my S, I'd still have one.

Phil, a member / fellow m3 owner on m3forum has a AA s/c m3 current (e46) 500 hp it's SMG like mine, but he hit 12.4 at 118 mph. The et isn't all that but the mph I bet would run neck and neck with you...

I would pay to watch that sh!t!

i have an idea

You're on one coast and I'm on the other...how about a run to New Orleans for mardi gras. We'll party have a good time and run the cars. Call it the tossing of the Mardi Gauntlet

Maybe this could turn into the S2k FI Mardi Gras showdown. The FI crowd could use a meet like that. An oyster poorboy from Mothers interest you Phil?

Maybe we could get a little fishing in too.

Not really. If in fact the 996 turbo he ran was chipped it was at the very least capable of those traps. Hell the quickest published stock non X-50 turbo 911 time is 11.9@118.

Your friends M3 is either making a lot less horsepower than he claims or he is spinning them through fourth ...
