Could be your simple built GSR setup. I had a 1.8 GSR/Portflow head/Skunk stage 2 cams/Injectors/hondata/JDM ITR Pistons/race header/exhaust/B16 tranny. I made 215 @ the wheels. I used to clown S2k's all the time

I currently own both a s2000 (stock) and a dc2 GSR (slight mods) ... neither one is faster than the other... they are about dead even....but the s2000 turns more heads

The race mustve been like 5 seconds if it was from 70-100

Who races from speeds that high anyways? Shouldve just slowed down to about at least 50.

Yeah I know. Did not plan on racing and my exit was in a few hundred feet. So the integra floored it right to right next to me and then I just slowed down and he took off so I hit it almost at the same time getting to around 100 and then I had to exit.
Is 70 in 3rd a good spot for the S2000 in a race? Would figure around 45 or so in second would be best no?

So what is a DC2 integra?
I have driven a gsr integra and it did not feel fast at all.
Stock they are much much slower than an S2000.

Thats the same with an S2000. When vtec hits, it shines. Except an S2000 has lots more power. So how is the GSR even close to it in acceleration? I know even the type r is not as fast.

Wrong. 98 is when they changed the bumpers and lights. A DC2 is a gsr or type r. A DC4 is everything that isn't a gsr or type r. This includes all 3rd gen integras from 94-01.

this might help some 2003s2k2003 go to www.k20a.org if you want to learn more about k20a swaps into anything and http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/honda-acura-tech/ can help you out with ls/vtec swaps, type r swaps, b16a swaps, b20 etc... or you could ask just thought it might help. Will help with different types of swaps and engine setups

Thanks I'll take a look at it. Haven't been into Honda's before I got my S2000. Been in the DSM world. Man they are fast. Got my eclipse running today. Only 10 psi and man it flies.
