well i'm baffled that you guys dont believe me 
but it is what it is...
uhh.. i know it was modded coz it had a aftermarket exhaust (diff piping) it sounded different, also it had rims and some type of bodykit....
i mean the g37 weighs around 3600-3800lbs
my s2k with me in it 2890 lbs
g37 0-60mph 5.6-6.0 secs

I love reading this stuff, so funny. I loved my s2000, but it is what it is, a car that is reasonably fast within a very small powerband. And this is where the S2000 gets in trouble. Great for track use (I should know, I tracked mine, along with several other of my cars), but it falls short on the street. From a roll, an S2000 would not keep up with my G37. Say what you will, and who knows what happened in the original forum posters case, it's just not as fast as many cars these days. However, not many cars have such a smooth engine/transmission and great handling abilities. Love it for what it is, not what you wish it to be.
I love the part when one fellow said (paraphrase) that you dont know anything since you've only been on this forum for only a month.

Well the feeling torque will make the butt feel faster. In real life, the G37 is equally matched on paper with the S2000. Fact is, its a drivers race....
