Default Raced a mustang gt 40-80mph and then 0-75mph

I was just cruising.. top down going about 40mph obeying the traffic laws then this Mustang GT comes flying outa nowhere and starts revving the shit outa his car.

I look at him, he looks at me and it's on. The first race was from a roll from about 40mph. I dropped to 2nd and I engage VTEC I reedline 2nd and shift to 3rd and we both stopped at about 80mph.
We were DEAD EVEN

We both come to a red light and we exchange few words. He said his car was bone stock. I told him I had a CAI.
The light turns green and I dropped the clutch at 6k. My S2k fishtails a little. The mustang seemed to get a good launch too.

We were dead even thru 1st, 2nd gear and half way thru 3rd.
At the end of the race, we both give thumbs up
The mustang owner tells me that he has to go take a drug test lol and he took a left turn and went on his way

I raced a drug dealer

Nice race!

You have an idea what year? I'm guessing 99+, right, with the large vertical side scoops?

I guess he wasn't on "speed" that day! Hahahahhaaa

Just because he had to take a drug test doesn't mean he was a drug dealer. Maybe he was applying for a job or something.

With your top down, it creates so much drag that a GT will stick to you. But with your top up, you would be able to walk on him.

You'd be amazed at the drag created at 80mph.

I know firsthand how huge a difference it makes. I've run my friends' LT1 SS more times than I can count. From a roll to 100mph, if I have the top down, he starts to pull on me just slightly as we get to 100mph. If I have the top up... I'll put almost 2 lengths on him.

Huge difference, even at 80mph.
