What's wrong with these rich people? Damn idiots.
Why are they buying Bentley @ $875/hp when they can get a Daewoo for $92/hp or a Camaro at approximately ~$70/hp????

Honestly the carrera 4s was just messing with you.
That car could easily have blown the doors off an S2000, unless the S was SC
I lost to one off line line a while ago (C4).
Had a hard time catching a regular C2 before they became 320 HP(02).
They are pretty damn fast!

IT DEPENDS!
If it was an Audi S4 or a Carrera 4S, or an hybrid Audi with a flat-6 N/A or a 911 with a V6 TT
Losing power due to the 4Wd system, not at all. Actually, porsche has a variable torque sensing system. They don't loose the power that the WRX loose in fact. That is one of the reasons the WRX get a not so high top speed.

Dollar per HP.
HP per cylinder.
Your motor has twice the number of cylinders than my motor.
Your motor has 3 times the liter than my motor.
Your car cost $30 grands more than mine so let me put $30 grands in my car and see who is faster.
All of the arguments above are very lame.

From my personal experiences, the s2k holds up pretty well with most Porsche C4's. There are 2 996 Carrera4 Cabs, and a 993 C4S in our club. Each time that we go on our drives, the s2k's keeps up very well especially on the twisties. I'm in no way, trying to say that the s2k is a better car, but in terms of performance, it's closely matched with the Porsches that I've run with. I personally love Porsches and will definately be getting one myself in the near future (993 C4S). Just to clear up some things, everyone in our club has some sort of driving experience and knowledge. On the straights, the Porsche slowly inches away, but not by much.
The Porsche owners in the club has the utmost respect for the s2000 after seeing on just how well this "Honda" can perform. They just rave on how quick this car really is.
Now before any flaming is done on my post, this is just like I said my own personal experiences and am an avid Porsche fan myself. I have the highest respect for Porsches.
