Default Ran a g35 sunday night

I was headed home a friends house sunday eve. My roommate was in his truck behind me. As I was sitting at a light a g35 blew past me and reved on me. I usually don't take but I thought what the hell and my roommate seemed to read my mind. I tried to catch him and did at the next light. My roommate was behind him. The light turned green and I didn't launch that hard so he got off the line quicker. I didn't even drop the clutch enough to spin the tires. He had about a half a car on me until I hit 3rd gear. For some reason Honda's seem to pull really hard in 3rd gear. Crept right past him until I had a full car and then shut it down. He tried and again and got him again. He didn't think it was funny but I could his girlfriend did...haha. I got a phone call a few seconds later and my roommate on the other end said "did you really just pull that g35?" I said "I told you this car was fast." He was impressed....shit, so was I.

The best part was the emblem on the back. I didn't see it as I was ahead of him but my roommate said he had a SKYLINE emblem on the back.

I haven't street raced someone in forever and it felt good to do it. I just don't want to get caught so I'm going to keep it to a minimum.

Thanks. My car is stock except for the test pipe (which doesn't seem to do much power wise) and I had the cover off the airbox here in FL. I'm sure I had some heat soak. I can't even remember.
