Nope!! I'm not surprised that you are confused, but reread my original post where I say that I can take LS1's. Do ANY near stock S2K owners think that they can take a well driven LS1.....I hope not. I would run the Teg, but not for cash, as I'm kinda poor. A stock Type R should be pretty close to a stock S right? I've never run on a drag strip or raced at any level, so as far as driving skill, I'm sure I leave much to be desired. I know I have pulled on 3 GM V8's though. One was a auto 93 vette, one a probably auto Firebird, and one was a MT Camaro. They were probably all LT1's, and I barely pulled at higher speeds. I can only imagine what a well modded LT or stock LS1 could do. Hell, I don't even think that my S is all that fast.....thats what the Busa and VFR were for.

many people share your opinion when they first get on the site or have only been here for a few months. over the past 2 years, ive actually started to like reading posts like his, it keeps the forum interesting. if it bothers you that much, there is an ignore button; but that takes all the fun out of the forums if there's no one to start fights.

I read an N/A Modded Toda Type R ran a 13.3 and trapped 105 mph. This was years ago. They can be fast cars.

Regardless, short of me driving my S2k all the way out there this is the easiest way to get some decent video of both cars and talk some shit over a few beers with another enthusiast after the process.

 

well the thread has turned into a shithole, but just wanted to post something interesting I saw first hand at the drag strip a week ago. cammed out full bolt on tuned itr was running 13.3-13.5 i heard he was attempting to hit 12's on street tires but was getting frustrated. he has ran high 12's with DR's. soooo just watch out for the itr's u never... you might get surprised.

Well, because 100 bucks is important right now....I was laid off recently, so gambling isn't exactly top priority. Also because I already know what the outcome will be: LS1 will layeth the smack down......as expected, and S2K SHOULD stomp on the Teg. I would run for video though.
