LOL next time im in town I will see if you are available. This guy on top of having both of these cars makes amazing ribs. It would be interesting to get some runs on tape between the cars -- and there is the perfect spot not far away in an industrial area with zero traffic.
Heh, I don't get angry easily. Life's too short to get pissed at the little stuff.

Yup, I'm down for that. I'm pretty good at eating ribs. There also happens to be a microbrewery in St. Charles that makes killer brews. This smells like a Gateway cookout or something. I actually live about 2 hours away from St. Louis though, so it would take some planning. If there's ribs and beer, I'm getting shit-faced.

Sounds to me like a misunderstanding that was worked out between two posters. I removed all of the garbage flaming in between. For the newbies who are quick to flame steve c just for the sake of flaming, they fail to realize he's usually right. (not every time, but most of the time. and if he's wrong, he'll admit it)

Hey, my dog doesn't eat garbage! If you look closely, you'll see he's licking his chops.......he heard about the ribs too.

No way, the 2000 FBP was the best color ever.

I wanted black, but got a deal on yellow -- which was eaten up in the tickets I recieved for sticking out like a sore thumb. I loved my R. 2 jacks, jack stands, a tool box, air tank, rags, clothes, set of wheels and tires and other assorted crap all fit in the back for the drive to the track and back home again.

At the time when I was in Seattle with both the S2k and the ITR I still almost always tracked the ITR ...

Nope!! I'm not surprised that you are confused, but reread my original post where I say that I can take LS1's. Do ANY near stock S2K owners think that they can take a well driven LS1.....I hope not. I would run the Teg, but not for cash, as I'm kinda poor. A stock Type R should be pretty close to a stock S right? I've never run on a drag strip or raced at any level, so as far as driving skill, I'm sure I leave much to be desired. I know I have pulled on 3 GM V8's though. One was a auto 93 vette, one a probably auto Firebird, and one was a MT Camaro. They were probably all LT1's, and I barely pulled at higher speeds. I can only imagine what a well modded LT or stock LS1 could do. Hell, I don't even think that my S is all that fast.....thats what the Busa and VFR were for.
my stock ap1 pulled at least 1 car from a camero on 0-60 too
