Default The Return Of The 350Z

Well, well, well... Looks like we're going to have a new beast in the house. The Nissan/Datson 350Z 280 hp/260 ft-lb torque. I don't know what to say but, do you guys think that the S2k will be able to stand next to it? At least half a car at take off.

Who really cares. I mean, what can it do against a Z06 or SVT Cobra? Can a 350Z driver enjoy the wind in you hair roadster feel?

Im just saying guys. Lets not get started. It was just a comment. I can understand if you dont like the car, everyone has a different taste. My question was towards the S2k not the Z06 or SVT Cobra. Why do we have to divert the conversation

I'm sorry D350Z. I didn't say I didn't like the Z. I'm sure it will beat a stock S2000 off the line every time. They are two different cars though.

Ok no problem. But honestly I was having second thoughts about the 350Z beating the S2k. Well I guess I just wanted the S2k to be even with it - because I own an S2k - But I also had owned 4 Datsons, 1 260z 74, 1 300zx 87, 2 280z 78 and 81, but what can we say I guess I still within the family.

I liked the car too when I saw it at the Chicago Auto show. But I didn't like the low 14 quarter mile times they posted at the Nissan Booth. Almost like they went backwards in performance. They should have turboed that car and at least got it in the mid 13 range. It looks nice though.

Well, If I bought one. First mod would be a 30 hp nitrous kit. It's nice and safe and will easily get that car into the 13's with that little shot. I know 4 cylinders are pushing the envelope with a 50 shot, so since its a 6 cylinder, you may be able to do a 50 shot safely. That will definately get that car in low low 13's.
