Interesting topic as I just had an encounter with an 05+ GT coupe earlier this evening. It was from a 4 way stop, we both just rolled off the line normally and then punched it in first gear at about the same time.

edit: I should mention my mods, AEM cold air intake, fujitsubo catback exhaust. The mustang sounded/appeared to be stock.

^He never said he 'beat' his share of mustangs, just that he's raced his share of mustangs 
& I think everyone would agree it is fun when we DO beat them...
I'm curious how his race with the 2010 GT went..although I could be mistaken isn't it only the 2011's that have the new 5 liter engine with 400+hp ? Not sure if the 2010's still have the 4.6 or the new engine I'm sure somebody can clarify...

with 11's just a tune and traction away..
(guess that I'm going to have to do a bit more to my 03 Cobra than a pulley and tune to stay ahead of them)

Im only at 290whp right now but im going to try to upgrade to the novi1200 and shooting for 400whp next spring, just have to save up some money
