I don't know what to say but can't you see that you're talking like a Cobra fanboy. Quit throwing me "LOL" everytime you begin your sentence. But look... I can't think of a Cobra having as good mileage as the S, and you shouldn't conclude S' mileage based on one S you own man.

 

I've owned two S2000's and both have been pretty much identical from that standpoint. My point is that I have owned and therefor have personal experience with both...you're just spouting off stuff that you have no experience or evidence of and obviously don't know what you're talking about. I can use LOL...whenever I feel like and when I when I hear ignorant people spouting off crap then I'm going to use it because it cracks me up. Either don't post BS or get use to it.

I also find it cute when someone has a lesser performance car, they start crying about practicality and gas mileage. I think we all know we buy these cars for the performance. If we wanted a car with a large trunk and 40mpg, we'd get hyundais.

 

LS1's get 30mpg. Damn. I have absolutely no experience with those engines, but I know they put out quite a bit power. Figured they don't get such good gas mileage, but after surfing the web I found plenty of claims that they do. There is alot of skepticism though, but I think those ppl just have a different driving style that simply lowers the mpg.

Hmm, lets see even at 750whp if im doing the speed limit on the freeway my LS1 powered Vette gets about 25-27mpg and I average about 23 messing around every now and then. Hell even our Z06 gets better gas mileage than our S2K did. My Cobra got decent gas mileage, but not as good as my Vette's.
