THis is kinda sad...
ALright, im driving my dads stage 1 wrx (utec and full exhaust....He actually has the stage four kit he just hasnt put in the fuel pump, injectors, intercooler and turbo...) anyway, he is driving my S, supercharged, h/i/e...and we both hit it at about 20, im behind him, the less skilled driver in the so called slower car... .....so we hit it and he gets a jump....and pulls maybe a couple feet...then i gain a little then it ends there...and all the way up to 100 it was dead even, neither of us were pulling.... i was like noway....this cant be right...hes a much better driver than me he should have been able to pull from me in the soob...
for 1000 dollars..<----- thats the price from turboxs, without install----you can have a pretty f'n fast car....that will stick with a supercharged S..

I think had it been a freeway run, the s would have did better..but who knows....

another thing, on my drive back from cali to phoenix, i did 140 in his soob...(im borrowing it for a couple weeks) i just left it in 5th at about 90 and did about 3/4 throttle all the way up to 140..and it pulled good too, i dont know how long it took exactly , but it got there rather quickly...and was still pulling when i decided to stop...

 

it's hard to compete with the pull of a spooling turbo......unless you have like 6 or 7 liter V8s, or some other ridiculously gigantic engine.

 

Or a healthy dose of blown psi.

 

Sounds like your S is running one weak S.C. or your dad was trying to be nice to you. What S.C. is in the S, Jackson? If so lose it and put in a Vortech or Comptech. The WRX should not have pulled on the S w S.C., You might want to get the S looked at, there might be some problems with it.

 

theres nothing wrong with the S, it runs as strong as ever...i have the comptech supercharger...

 

I think your pop sold you a bill of goods and there is really no S/C under the hood. Hey, have pops show you how to pop the hood and look and see if you seen any compressor looking thingy with a belt attached to it. A stock S2K decimates a WRX frog.

 

the wrx isnt stock, and i really do have a supercharged S.....

 

with the mods on the wrx....you would have been side by side....with a STOCK StOOck....come on man!

 

Run them again, only this time, you drive the S2000.

 

Sorry but a stage 1 WRX would pull on a stock stook no problem.

Dont you have a WRX? Shouldn't you know these things?

I think some people don't realize exactly how big of a difference full exhaust/ecu tuning makes on a car that comes with a friggin TURBOCHARGER.
