Well, long story short, had a guy at work talk trash to me about how his charger would eat up my s2k, and that i would 't stand a chance against his charger with a hemi. Long story short. I don't drive my car often, so i decided to do a practice launch, we all know how difficult that is to get a good launch. So i did, it was at night and it was fairly cold, so my tires just kept spinning and won't hook, so i thought i was dead at the race. Got to the lights lined it up and just decided to just bog it off the line. 1st gear he pulled on me be almost a car lengt, he was pulling till i hit vtec on 1st, 2nd gear, made up for the half a car that i lost, 3rd i was pulling away pretty good, by end of 4th i think somewhere near 170 km i was a full car length ahead, not sure how fast you'd be going in 4th at 8800 rpm. but that was the end of the race with me a car in front. Hope i made some of you guys proud. lol

 

good job man, is your S stock? also anyone think a S could beat the 4 door charger? i forgot its name cuase dogde sucks

All current generation "Chargers" are 4 door sedans.

There is an 80ish hp "Charger" from the early 80s based on the Omni platform. That was a 2 door.

Then you have the original Charger, late 60s to late 70s. Many of those that are in good condition these days would do pretty well against an S2000 in a stoplight race (that's an understatement ).

All you really need to do is hear the lumpy idle of a built Hemi Cuda to NOT think "Dodge sucks."

Nice race. The outcome is about what i expected... Charger would have a quick start, but the S would make up the ground and then some. So how does it feel to beat american muscle with a 4 cylinder?

 

Nice race, I had a guy that worked a few floors below me talk trash to me too saying his 94 Acura Vigor smokes S2000's and most muslce cars LOL. I got him so bad and so did my friends Z06 modded LOL. So I know the feeling of some people talking trash to yah! Again, good stuff!

I used to own a MY00 Dodge Dakota, I hated it after owning it for awhile. Not just cuz it's a Dodge but even the dealers didn't show me any respect due to that I'm azn. I will stand to say that Dodge suck but on the real? Hemi or a Hemi Cuda are no joke, a lumpy idle of a built Hemi Cuda sounds really scary cuz I've personally seen/heard one before. All I could say is "WOW"!!!

 

hmmm. nice run.. i thought that new hemi charger was really fast.. i seen one on the highway take off and it looked pretty fast..

 

the new hemi chargers feel nice from the start to about 25 then its kinda boring ..not much feeling of acceleration after that .
