He probably lifted the throttle abruptly mid-turn but it still doesn't seems like he was going fast enough to invoke lift-throttle oversteer. Maybe there was some sand or dirt on the road too.

Yeah, that clip is rather old but can be seen in the DVD title Techademics: Mischief, if anyone was wondering. It's a pretty good import car video considering many of the terrible import titles out. Highly recommended for car lovers.

haven't seen it before thanks, it reminds me of that other video where that guy lifted the gas in a sweeping left and went off the edge of that small cliff!
