I agree but I wouldn't say 100, 600cc bikes trap 120+ and 1000cc 140+.

 

Actually the races are usually close. Search youtube. There are plenty of close runs but more of them are in favor of the M3.

It's usually dead even til the S shifts into 4th. The top end is better in the M3.

 

I was with my friend, in his S2000 (NA with flashpro), when we came across an e46 M3 that wanted to play. I thought my friend was nuts and would get killed. There were a few turns on the route and my friend pulled away from the M3 in those turns and it couldn't quite catch-up in the straights. So yeah, M3 doesn't mean automatic loss.
