Im sorry I think you got me mistaken. While I don't condone street racing you must think im one of these kids that go out saturday nights and sit in a parking lot all night.
Im pretty confident I can take this 500 SL I've raced G35's and a couple of stock and lightly modded SRT-4's on the street and beat them. My track time does my car no justice and not to mention how crappy the track was..I know i can run better I was trapping close to 99 mph but my 60 foot was killing me I had too much spin from the whole I got out good but traction could of been alot better I just got new tires that should help drop my 60 foot.

[B]On the street's I get better traction than on the track obviously since they are street tires[b] and im running on volk 18's inch wheels as well. I've have yet to run a 350z but I'd imagine it be a drivers race but I wouldn't be surprised to see a 350z pull top end. Im a good driver I've dragged for years but mostly street I don't do it as much rarely if i do and most of the races i run are from rolls on the hwy.
It sure as hell sounds like you condone street racing.

Before you make you shallow assumptions
I don't need to make "shallow assumptions, you TOLD me you street race.

just know if and when i do run anyone on the "streets" its on empty hwy's late at night w/ no traffic so if i do kill anyone it be myself
Not necessarily. I've driven on plenty of "empty hwy's [sic] late at night" and so has the rest of my family. If you can't control the conditions (ie, it's a public street), it's ricockulous to race.

everyone is guilty of playing on the hwy or empty street.
Everyone? Not me. Watch who you tar with that brush.

There is no excuse for playing in traffic and racing in the middle of rush hour which is what you are refering too.
There's no excuse for street racing, period, traffic or not.

Next time grow up and keep your "gay" and "ricer" comments to yourself get the facts
I responded to the post you made where you said you like to race on the street.

[QUOTE]before you become a superman behind the keyboard just because you know me so well...wait actually you don't know me so I'd really STFU if i was you

You will not have an issue with a 92

My 06 CLK500 (stock) is faster than my 02 S2000 (stock).

But that's still not the best time...Besides, magazine pro's jump in the car and make a total of 10 passes...and they take the best time from that...I don't know about you, but "pro" or not, I'd like to believe that I could run a better time in "MY" car that I know like the back of my hand...rather then just running it, then getting into some other car and running that 10 times, then jumping into another car and doing the same..You feel me?

Back on topic....When I 1st put CAI on my s2000, the day I installed it I pulled up next to a 2003 SL500...After I looked clostly at his car I gave him a thumbs up telling the guy nice car...He rolled down his window and did the same saying my car looked like a cool little sports car..well being that I had just installed the intake I was listening to it every chance I got...well he was right next to me at a red light now, and asked to see what my car had...so the light turns green and I weakly launch (like 3-4K) and punch it...through 1st he had a bit of momentum, soon as I was into 2nd gear I started creeping up on him ever so slightly, into 3rd im starting to pull ahead, into 4th now and he's about 3/4 a car back....shortly after we shut it down...But his car was pretty quick man! I'll give him that....Im not sure about the new 06's but that 03' was no slouch...

Tru I know what your saying Best I've seen was a 13.9 im sure people have done better. Practice makes perfect when it comes down to it. But like you were saying its just a car they got into ten passes and that was the best they did im sure an owner that knows the car in and out could do better..

Talked to the guy today he's down for a track meet here in Orlando they have saturday night drags at the track 3 months out of the year its always the first saturday out of the month. So I'll get my chance to run him then. His buddy that works w/ us in MIS has an M5 w/ a couple mods I can't wait to see what it can do at the track should be interesting I've never seen one run before.

Actually, a very good driver has posted a 13.66@99mph w/ 1.861 60' in a stock AP1 back many years ago. It was a Bimmer driver that goes by the screen name SilverStreak over on the bimmerforums who ran a friend's car.

03 and 06 are same motor

06 has a 7-speed

07's are 389 hp and the S2000 would need FI to beat these.

Remember that these thing are HEAVY and only have 302hp (although MB underrates)
