no you're cool, mistake. the turbo AWD eclipse is really easy to mod, but you will nickle and dime yourself to death on it because once you get one thing, you have to keep getting the otherstuff, i no cause i had one which is why i bought the V6. how is that comtech supercharger? I heard competch only ran a 13.4 with it because they could only run like 5psi of boost with the S2000's high compression?

 

whats the fastest time a S2000 has run that you've seen?

 

I have a friend who's raced a turbo'd (t3/t4?) S2000, and that S2000 is owned by some guy in this forum by the name of ChrisD. He's run 12.6 at the tracks.

Dave? Same turbo? I wasn't aware that there was a dave with the speedcraft setup. You thinking of derryck? He's run 12.1-12.3 gtech times. I've run 12.6@115 on radials.. lots of spin, 2.2 60' time. (115 trap speeds are more indicitive of 12.0 times).

i have a friend w/ a new eclipse GT.. no contest.. i've gone to their eclipse club meets.. and raced their fastest one still N/A i think.. bolt ons.. he did pretty well didn't start to pull until 60.. and i got about a car by 90. plus he had the full F&F style bodykit, shogun wing, and neon lights.. wonder all the HP that adds is worth the added weight..

I killed a new eclipse GT just over a week ago in town...It was from a roll, I think around 15 mph or so in 1st. He punched first, I saw him jump ahead so I punched...I pulled hard consistantly after that (until stopped by traffic at about 65 mph). I doubt he would have caught up if the race were to continue, but there is now way I can say that for sure.
I have yet to race a modded GT...So I take it they respond to mods well??

 

some are pretty quick. I went to the Great Lakes Dragaway this week end and i only ran a 14.67, but that was my first time slipping my clutch and reving before my shifts. I no I can get a 14.5 maybe a 14.4 but nothing better for now. Next week i'm ordering the Throttle Body and i'm going to retune my A/F. So hopefully it will perform a little better.
