That was on 91 octane. Most EVOs runnning 93 or higher octane fuel put at least 10 more awhp.

HAHA... hehe... like the stock s2k block can handle 20-25 psi

lets see, the s2k also has more aggressive cams and a 2000 rpm higher rev limit. thats not fair! put that on an evo and it'd beat it even worst!!

Shiv from Vishnu Performance just got a 11.63@121 at the 1/4 with his EVO on the stock shortblock, no NOS, and an reaction time of 1.372. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any of the turbo guys here are into the mid 11s yet. [/QUOTE]

The reaction time dosen't matter, the clock dosen't start untill you cross the line.

yeah, r/t doesnt really matter, but they still ran a mid 11 w/o nos, trapping at over 120, which is very nice.

Yah, you guys are right r/t doesn't really matter, sorry. I was just pointing out that he wasn't that good at drag, he actually pointed out this is second time running down the 1/4. Anyways, here is his times,

Reaction 1.372
60 1.963 (60-ft)
330 5.155
1/8 7.682
MPH (I3) 97.397
1000 9.816
E.T. 11.631
MPH 121.551

Could definitely improve that 60' time. He stated that he broke loose all four
RA1s in first and second.

Well from a stop the Evo will tear apart the S2000 but from a roll on the highway it is very close. The top end of the Evo dissapointed me compaired to how hard it hits at 3500rpm. The problem is that it peaks at 19psi boost at 3500 but then tapers to 16psi at redline. This can be fixed though by getting a ECU reflash that removes this taper.

His reaction tims sucks 1.372. he should try for .5 perfect reaction time.

Why campare a Slightly modded S2K with a stock Evo because the Evo has more HP and torque than a modded S2k so an S2K having I/H/E and out performing an Evo thats great and just for your Info a S2000 with I/H/E only picks up 10-15hp max therefore it still only will have 250-255HP.
Turbo S2k's will easily run 11's with 400whp and good traction and with 500whp the Evo will need much more HP to out run an S2000.
therefore running a 400hp S2000 vs a 400HP evo the S2000 will win.

For what it's worth.

I lost to a EVO (I'm stock), from a 40-90mph, by about 1-1 1/2 cars.

I don't know if he was stock and my top was down.
