haha.. it's shirinking I said 2-2.5 if I drop it...otherwise a 3k slip was about right... but thats cause I have a base with shitty 17" 235 potenza's.. With my new BFG's a nice 4-5k slip is perfect

so by you saying "so do I" which one do you think is faster..? just curious..?? Cause honestly if you own both and don't think the Z has a little more up top you are crazy
That "little up top" is very, very deceiving... maybe over 130 mph? Yeah I'll agree with that

yeah well.... thats when I was still getting used to my Z and kinda realized that I was dropping the clutch more than slipping it...this clutch is alot different than my acura..but if you drop the clutch even at 2k in the Z it'll spin all the way threw 1st almost..

only s2k I've ran on camera was 9k.. not sure if you saw that one.. and when I say the Z is stronger up top, I'm talking anything above 40mph roll on the highway the Z pulls....

if you guys locate a lightly modded S2K in my area I'd be glad to get this on tape

I will drop @ 3.5k w/ no/minimal wheel spin. Try it again, but just ease up off the gas a little bit in the beginning (maybe at 1/2 throttle) and then punch it when the car lurches forward...

Bro I know how to launch... maybe you are doing it at daytime on hot sticky streets..?? When I launch it's usually at night (winter) and I don't heat them up or anything 1st....so they don't seem to want to hook regardless of what RPM I launch at.. if I didn't back off the gas like you suggested I'd spin all through 1st and 2nd then bog....maybe now that the weather is warming up I'll be able to launch higher

Stock G35 against a Stock S does not stand a chance from a stop or from a roll. That's if the S driver doen't mess up like in your incounter blessed.

I wouldn't go that far and say it doesn't stand a chance, but I do think the S has a bit of an advantage (or at least from driving both it feel's like that)...I've beaten a few G35's in my S2000, but most G35 driver's are older, and don't shift all that well. Im just courious to see what the outcome would be with 2 competive driver's, both in stock car's...

I was in Florida over Spring Break and will most likely be there again in September and will be glad to run you. However, you are invited to come to Chicago any time.

I apologize your both right I should not have said it doesn't stand a chance. I like the G35, but I myself have pulled away from one auto and to manual one's. It does stand a chance with a good driver, but I believe the S should be able to pull away.

blessed do you have the 05 G35. I love the new wheels they have, much nicer then the old one's I think although I like those as well. I think the new one's have more hp but lose 10 or more torque
