Lol, well if you had a C6Z and an NSX parked next to eachother I wouldnt even notice there was an NSX there Seriously it comes down to what people like and personally I like American Muscle (I would also take a C6Z over a Viper) I also like Viper's looked into picking one up on more than one occasion, just because you dont see them often. But if it was something I had to drive daily id take the Vette.
judging from your list of cars from the past till now...i foresee you getting a turbo'ed viper GTS soon...

of course u'll probably keep the z06 as DD

I'm a little affended by your pie hole coment even though I'm sure it wasn't directed towards me. I thought it was a little out of line. Who was it directed towards?
The comment was directed towards anyone speaking negatively towards a car they have never driven. It's easy to slag the car by the numbers, but doing so does it such a disservice, that having driven several and enjoyed the expreriences tremendously, I feel obligated to slag back.

I just stumbled on this thread, funny as hell. There is no way a stock S2k would be dead even with a NA1 NSX. I own both and the NSX was obviously not trying. Some of the comments are very amusing.
Did you actually read the post? If you did you would have your foot in your mouth right now. My S is Modded. His NA1 was as well, we don't know to what degree however other then extremely loud exhaust and some cosmetic changes. I feel I should add that this is actually the second NA1 I have raced and with the same results. Dead even from a freeway 60mph pull to 100ish before letting off do to traffic. Whats so hard to believe about that other then you feel bad that you spent 90k on a car that isn't any faster then a bolt on S that you also bought for 30k and don't apperently know how to push to its limits? I can understand your frustration since its a pretty expensive learning curve you have. Now thats amusing

And hey since we're on the subject that you've decided to participate in, I should also add that I have been on multiple s2000 and NSX joint club drives last summer and I was suprised to find that they don't turn any faster then my s either. Actually I found it quite satisfying that multiple NSX's throughout the trip were struggling to keep up and fend me off in our spirited sections of the drive. Very cool looking and unique car though as I have stated much appreciation for in this post. Take care

Ok sure, I agree with that. Now how would you feel about an instance where someone has raced that particular car, though not actually driving it, would that qualify or have some titlement towards this argument of experiencing its qualities, assuming the opposing driver was doing the car justice?

I think it's funny how you jump into every S2k v. NSX thread just to say that an S2k beating an NSX would never happen. It's almost like when someone posts about an LS1 car losing to anything else on LS1tech, except in this situation you are the only one that can't believe what happened.

As worthless as mag times are, they seem to point toward the early NA1's running a 13.9 in the 1/4. Couple this with the great launch an MR setup gives you and you can assume the trap speed is very similar to an S2k. In fact, over on NSX Prime I'm seeing that the NA1's trap 99-101mph. Sound similar to a certain other car that you claim could never keep up?

The NA2 is a different beast, but you seem to always defend the NA1. Perhaps you are confused?

I was debating to even respond to your childish and immature little street racing post but you taunted me, so I'll bite Your right, I dont know what Im talking about. Im worked for Honda/Acura for the past 9 years, an NSX owner for 4, and have over 5000 posts on NSX Prime but your right...im talking out my ass.

You claim I spent $90k on my NSX, $30k on my S2000 and more importantly....I dont know how to push "my cars to the limit". Do we know each other? You seem to know alot about me. This is half the reason I dont post here more, the maturity level. I prefer fact based arguments, supported by statistics rather than your experience playing Grand Turismo in your parents basement.

I regret putting in my 2 cents....You cant argue hypothetical situations.
WELL THANK you for blessing us with your presence over here in our lowly s2000 street encounters board.

NA1's are a hair faster than a stock s2k. a modded s2k should have no problem with a NA1 NSX. NA2's are a whole different beast.
