Lack of torque just means the car hesitates before it kicks your ass.

What an idiot...no shit.

Gee, ima buy a cobalt ss since i heard there's one running single digits!
A 07 Cobolt barely beat me in the middle of 6th gear @ 131 mph. I was in front of him the whole way until I heard his SC kicked in. Then he passed me slowly.

yah, i heard stageIIs are quick. but that's how fast they usually get. Very rare to stumble upon a faster cobalt on the streets.

I went to school with a guy who had a TC. Every time he saw me, he would say my car was a POS and he could beat me. I just ignored him cause he was a DOUCHE. Anyways long story short, I saw him driving randomly and I raped his ass by about 2-3 bus lengths.

Moral of the story, TC = cheesy. I don't understand why people even mess with FF cars if they want a performance oriented car. Just boggles me mind.

I personally see a lot of tSchits running around here but never raced one (nor want to for obvious reasons) besides my friend's till recently.

About one month ago i was crusing smooth when out of nowhere this tc came flying by and gets infront of me at the light (one of those last second cuts-in-front-of-ya type of move). Sort pissed me off at this kid you could tell had just bought this new tC (an 08..u can tell due to the ugly taillights)...its was totally stock.

light turned green and he gunned it....so did i. Funny thing was that I was also behind him, so i was able to get some slingshot effect on his ass even with my accelerating more anyways...blew passed him before I could even shift to 3rd lol

looked to the right as I passed him to say bye bye but he was just staring at the horizon...it was probably an auto too.

That was the second time that happened to me that week. The day before, I was in my old lady's c230 and had this old (00-04?) nissan sentra with wheels and perhaps exhaust or something trying to pull away from the pack as the light turn green...turns out I like to do that too...so he gunned it and then I did. I casually passed him and since the c230 is auto I had my elbow out the window just pretending like I was just cruizing as I flew by him. Felt bad for the kid lol
