S2000 vs. Trans Am
Alright...so it was a boring night and I was with my friend cruising around. We stop by this one place and I see a friend of mine with his 2000(I think) trans am. Since there was nothing else to do and it was late he asked if I wanted to run - I agreed.
We went to a local highway and went from about a ~45mph roll.
Three honks ......
I got raped, he just flew away.
Is this right? I think he was stock and I would consider myself an ok driver as well.
Thanks~

Even though F-bodys do weigh more than S2K, it will still slaughter stock S2K.

Don't feel bad. The same thing happened to me when I first got my s2000. It's not meant for dragging. Challenge him to an autocross event and you'll be seconds ahead of him and he'll have the feeling of being spanked when he's sliding everywhere and slamming on his brakes at every turn. The s2000 is a very athelitic, well-balanced, nimble track car. Use it for what it's made for and you'll enjoy it and find it more challenging in autocross or road racing instead of illiegal dragging.
