her coworker had to correct me
Coworker has a 90 Deville which has 5hp less then an Eldorado and its a sedan and weighs 179lbs more

^^^ not really close. They do have decent torque though with the 2jz-ge engines.

IS300's are decent up top though.

I used to own a manual is300... You said an 01 so that makes it an auto. The autos are slower. Low- mid 7's 0-60 at best and usually trap from 91-93.

A stock S would slowly pull away from and is300 up top and rape one down low.

I completely destroyed an IS300...multiple bus lengths. I'm not exactly stock, but not FI or spraying. So a stock s2k should have no problem unless you a poor driver.

Yeah whats the spec on a N/A 2jz anyway? 230hp 180trq? am I even close?

Horsepower 215 @ 5800 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 218 @ 3800 RPM


The IS is auto stick. This is a comparison between the car I have now and the car I hope to buy in the near future.

That is a torquey motor! impressive that i-6 puts out more trq then hp, no wonder it makes such a potent FI platform

Ok guys heres one for you:

A guy my buddy works with has a 92 civic coupe that has been completely stripped with a GSR motor and tranny with basic bolt ons

Me, I have an 03 with intake and exhaust.

What's the outcome?
