reading is fundamental.
Damn, well you know that they forgot to include the amazing scion tc in there! Then the s2000 would never have won.

RX-8 is hardly a sub par vehicle.

I agree with the rx-8, but the g35 isn't that sub par at all.

Sorry, but I agree with the others. The "Best Motoring" videos are the WWF of automotive testing. Their results are highly suspect and I believe that the finishing order is decided well before the "race" (if you want to call it that) ever begins.

Sure the S2000 should have won. However I would never reach that conclusion based on viewing a "Best" video.

the rx8 is underpowered with poor gearing and the g35 is much heavier. if you've watched other BMI vids, you hear them complain about that kind of stuff more than a few times for those cars. around that tiny track, nimble attributes are very important and corner exit speeds are crucial since the longest straight is still pretty short. the s2000 suits that track very well. better than the other cars used.

now, i've said this at least twice before, but remember THEY PUT THE MOST EXPERIENCED DRIVER IN THE S2000 AS WELL. HE HAS WON OR COME IN THE TOP 2 OR 3 FOR PRACTICALLY EVERY RACE HE'S EVER BEEN IN FOR BMI; REGARDLESS OF CAR.

Yeah -- that's why I purchased two S2000's. Because I hate them and only love domestics. Which would also explain the various British, Japanese and German cars in my garage now and in the past -- because I am a domestic fanboi.

Or maybe, just maybe it could be that my ownership and track experience leaves me with a better understanding as to where each car fits into the food chain -- and that I am secure enough with what each car is so that I don't need to play make believe pretending my S2k (or any other car) is something that it is not.
I love the way you think buddy.
