First off, for those who don't know what a 3g eclipse is. The 3g is for 3rd generation (2000-2004).

Well, I was coming home from the gym and some guy with a lowered gt eclipse running at least an exhaust was sitting at light next to me. When the light changed he gunned it, and since I had nothing better to do I decided to excellerate fast than normal myself. It wasn't much of a race really. It was pretty even until I hit vtech in second gear and then he disappeared in my rearview mirror.

In his defense, it might been closer if he'd have kept trying after I had 3 or 4 car lengths on him.

I won't talk down too much about the 3g eclipses, I used to own one. They handle like boats and are slow as hell... but a tuner shop in NY makes a SC kit for them that can get the car into the upper 12's low 13's on stage 1 .

 

I owned a heavily modified 2g GSX and loved it....However I dispise the 3gen's myself...Good run.
