Well not really a race, but it was me and my friend goofing around on the highway. We got one pull, but I couldn't go much faster then 3-5th gear cause my g/f was in the car and she hates it when I race. But anyways, here's what happened.

We are cruising on the highway, I was at the top of 3rd, so my friend gunned it and so did I...I was about 2 car lengths back and was slightly pulling in 3rd then I shifted to 4th and my stock clutch could barely hold the power when I shifted, but when it caught I sling-shotted past him like he was standing still and shut down. Pretty funny. I think it's time to upgrade my clutch

He's got a downpipe and catback exhaust coming that I'm going to install soon. Then he's getting a cat delete (test pipe) and boost controller so it should be a much more even race.

I am running comptech SC with T1R exhaust and test pipe, and should have my aftercooler coming soon. Also, an upgraded clutch and AEM ECU with smaller pulley

 

Good stuff! How do you like you're test pipe? Any gains? I am thinking about the same thing with TB and Header.

 

I couldn't tell you what the difference is because I had the test pipe on before I put on the SC. But as far as I know, it should be giving me a pretty good bump in HP (it felt faster on my N/A, so FI should be much better). I will be going to the dyno soon, so I can let you know although I don't have a baseline

I have the T1R test pipe, which was part of the exhaust system i ordered ( i htink they still have a group buy for it). The entire exhaust plus test pipe was 600 shipped.
