Default SC430

It wasn't a long pull, it was a relatively small 4 lane road with an abundance of stoplights and traffic. He was some 40 year old guy that just got out of the gym. It was a beautiful color, some combination of orange/brown mica almost chameleon like. I was going the speed limit when he pulled off my bumper and gave me a fly by, so we approached a stop light and we had the fortune of being lined up. This is like my 5th day of having the car so I was anxious to see if it could hold its own. Which it definitely did. To 80 I pulled a car length or two. Not much, but hey its like a 60k car! with twice the motor and then some! Made my afternoon. Thanks for listening.

Nice kill. I would have thought they'd be at least even for how much they cost.

No way, those things are slow. If anything, you should have won by more.

Cost has nothing to do with performance anymore.

Yea, that was my first experience with one of those on the road. I have to say I was very unimpressed. In regards to beating him by more, I am very inexperienced with an S as I have just bought it, my WRX was alot more forgiving, and a monkey can launch one of those. I would like to take it to MIR come the Spring time to work on launches, I don't like streeting it up too much, its too dangerous as it is heavily traffiked in my area, and I don't want to beat up on the drivetrain unneccesarily on the road. The last thing I want to do is lose the love I just got.

SC430s are not that fast. A local guy here ran 14.9 to 15.8 all day at the trac. Of course he did have some 19s on. 1st run the guy was spinning down that track with no traction. They're just too heavy.
