After owning my inlinepro setup and considering new changes as I'm sure many have read, this has me wondering, what is our car the equivalent of when comparing to other cars, with the basic offerings of top-name kits?

That means: 35r (ish) size turbo, pump gas tuned and:

-Kit (around 400whp?)
-Kit plus 3mm headgasket (capable of 400-500whp I assume)
-Kit, hg, maybe high flow manifold (if not no previous), exhaust cutout, bigger intake manifold and other odds and ends that add power or make a greater powerband
-kit, hg, built motor, bigger turbo, race gas tune

So far with me having all save the motor build (aka do not have), I find myself faster the z06 vette and havent found anything quicker (stock) that isnt an import like myself modded out. How about you guys? anybody outperform anything faster?

go by power to weight. That will give you a good understanding of what your going to beat.

 

yah but you also have to factor in gear ratios and power bands

 

lets see, similar weight--with amp and turbo manifold, stock 4.11 gears, similar cars with similar power...z06 vette, viper, im drawin a blank bc its gettin late and my girls comin home. anybody else?

BTW, your S is faster than a Viper? The 600 hp SRT10 or one of the older gen Vipers?

 

lol, this is street encounter related, i already discussed in this and past threads beating a z06 and similar vehicles. its in two forums--inlineperformance and here as its related to both. i have an inline kit, and ive been discussing my response to this thread as it pertains to my encounters. now i wana hear about yours

 

and btw i haven't seen an srt10, 8.4 liter viper around (600 hp-ish), only the srt10 8.3 with the hp rating in the 500's...but i would think with 600rwhp on c16 id be fairly close on either depending on the race

 

Oh. My dad's cousin owns a modded 2008 SRT10 w/ 640 bhp. That thing is a beast.
Your S sounds like a beast, too. The cool thing about it is that I'm sure your S can keep up with cars that cost well over $100K, but you spent less than that on it.
