I wouldn't call them completely opposite, they're both front engined, RWD, performance cars. The complete opposite of an S2000 has got to be the H2!

FjS2000, Great choice! When my parents make me sell my car, I would seriously get new S.

Early congrats on your S2k!

Same here FjS2000, I sold my 01 Z28 in November 03 for an 02 Xterra. In my opinion one of the few true Sport Utilitys, I loved it and would love to have another one but only if I can have my S too. I have always liked them but I made the mistake of driving one. I had decided to wait a few months after I had moved so I would have plenty of dough to get a new one. But after driving it I had to have one now. I was like a crackhead without crack. Now I got it and I love it. Buy it! You won't regret it.

why so set on the MY05? is it coming with an inline 3.0L? you're missing out on summer with the S! I say pull the trigger now!!!

Even if no changes, it's still wise to wait a few months to get a brand new model year. '04 vs. '05, you do the math; better resale value, longer warranty, newer by a whole model year, etc. All of these are from waiting a few months. Easy choice!

longer warranty? the resale value will be better because the car is newer but then you wont be driving it for months so that doesnt make any sense.

Or a Lightning...

Back to the subject...

Way to many variables to just say that he will smoke you...should he, yes...but should does not mean he will.

Even if it were an LT1 SS I would not think they are "Pieces of cake"....an easy high 13 second car.
