Stock MY04 vs. Light Modded 350Z
Wheel hop is fairly common on high hp RWD cars with softer diff bushings and lower arm bushings.
As far as traction goes, I couldn't possibly floor my FD in 1st, and I can't even floor it in 2nd without spinning the rear tires.
If I shift hard from 1st to 2nd, bigtime sideways.
If I shift hard from 2nd to 3rd, traction loss but not as severe.
Yeah maybe if I throw on some Kuhmos and drive around town this won't happen.
This is with solid differential bushings, solid pillowball trailing arms and toe-control links - not to mention 6-puck clutch and 8.5 lb flywheel. 245 series all around.
Upgrade to a 6-puck for a good time.
