i'm not to quick to call BS because even though it seems like the s2k should have gotten killed... i have seen way to many kids do self swapps and FI the motor improperly...if this car was done poorly and not tuned and had a mess of problems it is possible... you never can rul that out since we weren't there to see the hatch... but normally a car/motor like that will take the stock S

My play thing is my 94 DX EG hatch. I swapped in a b18b which is an integra LS motor and now have turbocharged it. On 6.03psi, I made 200whp and 170wtq on a VERY conservative tune. My car weighs 2150 with me in it and there is NO WAY IN HELL a remotely stock S2k will stay with a bus of me . Getting times on it this weekend, expecting mid/low 13s@105ish. Then I am goign to turn the boost up to 10lbs and go hunting for mid/low 12s

hey the guy who built my car has a civic with over 360 fwhp. He just got new slicks for it. and snapped his axles twice at moroso a couple weeks ago...then snapped a set gator axle made him last week....this friday i get to see him try his new set up. His old one without the slicks ran 12.2's in the quarter. Now that he can hook it, I'm betting on mid 11's from his civic...no nos and his car is street drivable

he owns a fast car

i'm not doubting at all the huge potential of civics with swapps in them... as long as they are done right... my close friend has a 93 civic 2 door with a(exteamly built and bullit proof) LS bottom end and a vtec gsr top with a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo...it runs off a damn laptop! there is so much crap done to it i couldn't even begin to list it off. it dyno'd running only 10psi (it's built to handle 20psi for the track) 335whp...on top of that the car is pretty light...i can't wait to see it run this spring at the strip and really schock some people. i'll get some pics up on here....it looks 95% stock!!!

Ya, the best car to swap into though IMO is a CRX...that thing is SUPER light and an amazing drag car!!

I believe there is a CRX with a C30A NA1 NSX motor around somewhere running 9's.

A white EK9 type R would be an awesome ride to have. I saw a real one in Atlanta, this summer. It was imported over and it was real deal right hand drive.

civic type-r motor has 180hp not 200, civic, not integra, this motor is not perfect for supercharger, we estimate he has around the same horsepower as i do because he is getting 40-50hp with the supercharger, he got the supercharger for free, otherwise he would have done cams and internal work. it is the newest hatchback style, we both compared our weights and my car is 100lbs heavier but his weight is with four passengers and mine is with 2 passengers, each passenger accounts for 180lbs, so his car is 460lbs lighter than mine, he had a 3/4 tank i had 1/4 tank of gas that is, i had a 90lbs passenger he had a 250lbs passenger 460-160 is 360lbs difference between the two cars, his is lighter of the two, he has 180hp plus 50-60hp lets say 240hp, i have 245hp, we race from third through fourth, he shifts at 8200rpm i shift at 9000rpm, 3/4 car length is not much, maybe it was 1/2 car length or maye it was a car length, did not have my ruler to make mark exactly how far a head i was, my friends were shocked and so was i. I have been in this game for ten years and seen it all. two cars exactly the same, same mods, on the freeway one will pull over the other, every car is different, there are too many factors involved. his car makes power at 3000rpm mine makes power at 7000rpm, we have different gear ratios. His car has not been tuned either, too many factors, every motor is different, remember that, this is why street racing is so much fun, lots of mystery in what they have and what kind of condition etc. take it or leave it, just trying to share my story.
