It's happend again! Going home last night on the outskirts of town when a 88(I think)Vet. slowed down to let me catch up. I knew what this guy wanted but I'm not going to do it in the street. I pulled up behind and he pulled over into the left lane and we cought the light. His passenger was smurking like he had a mouth full of shlt and laughed to the driver, then he wanted to talk. He said. "is that thing fast?" After a few seconds of thought, I replied, I've got six speeds, 9000rpm,25mpg at 159 mph. and it,s a four banger. do you really want to take a chance and get beat by me? And he rolled his window up and drove off.

 

Kick ass, that is the best one in a long time. I'll have to use it, since I don't race on the street. - just the track.

I had something funny like that happen to me. A very loud Firebird, black with a sweet body kit was going down Josey here in N Dallas and I went by him. He was doing the speed limit (35) and I was going a little faster I slowed down and hit it and he didn't come. I kept going and seen him at the next light where I was turning right. He looked over and says "YOU'RE COOL MAN YOU'RE COOL!!!" He had his girl in the car with him so he was obviously showing off and wanted it to look like I didn't have much of a chance (which I doubt I did in a drag race). I tell him "You're just mad because your girl wants to be riding over here with me" and turn right. I'm lucky he didn't follow though. I had the top down and just got my baby washed at the time. Funny encounters, gotta love em!
