Default A little covert squirrel nutz action for all of you.

I had a laaaate night at the office last night and left around 1:30pm About 3 hours after the last thunder. I was going home on route 1 south towards Oxford Valley when I came across an older z28 ( I'm not really familiar with these cars but it was one of the boxy types, dual exhaust, tinted windows and the go fast louvers on the back window). I was going at a around 75mph and passed this guy. Now I was not looking for trouble and was just trying to get home. He caught up to me and started to pace me all the while flashing his lights. I decided to slow down and let move past me in the right lane. Not even 30 seconds goes by and the guy is next to me and doing his thing again. I figured that it was time to test him and see if he really wanted to go. I was going around 45mph at this point and down shift to 3rd ( I know that I could have gone to 2nd but I thought 3rd would be ok). I let him make the first move and then I took off. He got a decent jump on me about 1.5 cars and I pulled to his front bumper by 100 mph. At 120 mph he was falling away but definitely trying to keep up. By the time we went past the oxford valley bridge I considered the show over but he kept coming. I took my exit and he followed. I stopped at 7-11 to grab something to eat (chili/cheese dog and chips mmmmm.) He followed me in. To my amazement he got and was wearing his police pants and police t-shirt (I won't disclose the Station). We talked for a few minutes and were on our way. I good guy after all and seemed by how he talked that he did this on a semi-regular basis.

Disclaimer:

- I know racing on public roads is dumb,
- I know that a race from a roll is not a driver skill contest but more a matter of the better vehicle,
- the roads were bone dry.

This thread should jump start our page.

You know Mr. Reese...... I am certainly NOT an advocate of driving over the posted speed limit you know........................................unless of course he had it coming and you needed to put him in his place and put THIS expression on his face after you TOASTED him.

Good one!!!!

I know safety is paramount with you. Both the officer and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The car was planted as usual even with the top down. I would guess it was about 80% humidity and 65

Officer Bob might be a little faster if he would get rid of the spare tire.
