Default Tesla S vs Supercharged AP2

Was on a curvy ramp merging onto the highway when apparently I caught the eye of a new Tesla S model with tags. He must have seen me coming up behind him at 30mph. He slows down and I had to brake. Thats when i realized he wanted to run me.

So I let him get a 2 second head start and leave it in 3rd. I reel him in easily and by the time I hit 70mph I was passing him. I brake as he cuts me off for no reason (no cars around in a 4 lane hwy). I slow down and get in the next lane and see that he's trying to pick up speed again and not let me pass him. I shift to 4th at 80mph and pass him easily.

I start cruising at 79 and a few seconds later he does a fly by. I was trying to give him a thumbs up after all this but I guess he was a butt and too proud to look. The middle aged male driver with sunglasses had his nose in the air and forced himself to pretend I didn't exist as he passed me.

Anyway, thought I'd share my experience. The Tesla S makes about 416hp and is still a nice advancement in technology. ..an electric car making that much power is simply amazing. But Im still deeply in love with my sleeper S2k.

what size pulley are you using? I'm torn between a 3.4 and 3.6 at sea level. are you signature numbers whp and wtq? If so at 8psi thats awesome! I have almost the same set up as you which i'm sure is common

I'm actually on a one size smaller than stock pulley. I believe its a 4.0 only lol. At only 8psi now, I'm thinking I will drop to a 3.4 or 3.6 for some considerable gains.

I may stick with 3.6" if your numbers are whp with a 4.0".

Results may vary of course but it's on a DynoDynamics dyno, also known as the heartbreaker dyno because it gives lower readings than most if not all. I should also clarify that I'm planning to stick with my setup for a long while but once in a while I do wonder what 400whp feels like :-) The car feels perfect right now.

Those are pretty impressive numbers even for the Novi 1200 especially at eight psi incredible
