Idk why everyone else here is making it seem like your post is snobbish. I've read on the Lotus and Ferrari forums about owners who simply get pissed when asked how much a car costs.
It's a rude question to ask. It's like asking someone, "How much do you make?" If you're wondering how much the car costs and then know the owner can afford to drive it, then you're also wondering what he does for a living. It's too personal of a question.
Someone mentioned that you can just check online for prices.. Well, I don't see why people don't just do that instead of asking, "How much?" in person.
