Default Another GTR vs S2000

Well...just got the car back from the tune yesterday, so this was my first race with the new power. I must say the power is a little overwhelming. I didn't really know what to expect other than its going to be a little crazy once boost comes on.

I came from a 300whp supercharger setup to a pretty nice turbo setup. My current setup is in my signature.

So onto the race. I'm out hanging out with our local car people. My buddy Sam and his GTR was there, and I wanted to see how my new turbo setup would stack up against it. His car ran 10.9 @130mph at the drag track last summer. It's a built motor with the stock turbo setup on E85.

We did 40mph rolls. (him 3 passengers) (me, zero passengers)
First race I kind of took off on him, and i never saw him come past me (First time i really got on it and HOLY SHIT). But he told me he was catching me. Second race, He beat me by about 2 cars, but i was short shifting for some reason (Noob at this high power stuff). Third race i pulled ahead and when I shifted to third he would pull ahead about a car length, we would stay like that until i shift to 4th and i start gaining on him, I try to shift to 5th but I couldn't get it to go in, so i just called it quits on that run. I have to say this is the fastest car i've ever driven. just rolling in third gear and punching on the onramp with my 255 starspec tires I got sideways pretty fast ( Scared me a little)

Overall, it was a happy lost. I know my car will be a little faster once i get use to driving it. I'm just hoping nothing breaks soon.

Heres my dyno chart.

Why in the world would someone build a GT-R motor and not upgrade the turbos?

Don't know why he didn't go with an aftermarket turbo setup. But yes, i am only tuned on E85.
