Be careful bud... in GA if you go out of your way to fight a ticket and lose, they nail your ass to the wall for the hassle... in one instance a woman had to spend a few in jail. I know this sounds crazy but it even made it to talk radio after it went down...

I've learned to take my medicine, plea no contest.. and my insurance never hears a thing. I'm good for 1 speeding ticket per/year but I only have 2 points on my record. In GA they just want the revenue...

Ha, no doubt. That is where I learned to appologize, say I'll pay the fine, and ask them to drop it to 14mph so they don't report it to my insurance. Works everytime!

Yeah? They do it all the time. Their radar works in all directions. Coming at you, coming up behind you, and a lot of them have radar antennas facing out their back windows now also.

Before cops around here take to the streets (i have several officers attest to this that i have spoken with) they have to go out with a training officer and sit in their car stopped and watch cars go by. They then have to pick a car and say how fast they were going. if they dont get within 3mph of what the then uncovered radar says, they fail.

I was flying through GA cuz I had to deliver the Jaguar S-Type R I was driving @ Washington DC that morning and it was already 1 a.m. I got stopped but the cop wrote a different name then mine and date on the ticket. I think he was drinking on duty. I never eben bothered to find out if they are looking for me.
