Last night after dropping off Pierceman I was booking it down PCH top down as always. I saw some hids enter the highway from a sidestreet in a very agressive fashion. There were two cars. One was a SL65 and the other I couldn't tell at first but I thought it was a 360 Ferrari.
Finally both were beside me at the next light and it was a late model red Viper with the top up and SL65. They had been racing when they pulled onto the highway. I warned them about a cop that had been pacing be about a mile back and everyone was cool with the speed limit. The SL turned off a few block later.
At the city limits I was waiting for the Viper at about 40mph to come alongside. Instead, he was on it full throttle and doing at least 70 mph as he went by.
After having him pull about 8 car lengths while I was getting going I reeled him in so at 140-150 he was only one car ahead and still on it. I love how this thing pulls in fifth gear.
At that point the next traffic light went yellow and I decided to stop while he kept going.
I was thinking he would want to go again but it was not to be.
I don't count it as a loss since he took a running start and I easily pulled on him.
I'm sure he was wondering HTF a Honda was pulling on him so strong.

Good catch up.
I'm sorry your ears had to be next to that awful OHV V10 at 5k RPMS with sidepipes. I HATE the way they sound.
